Platform purpose
SymbioTech helps users explore Industrial Symbiosis opportunities, share materials, and connect with other companies. The platform supports collaboration between entities that may offer, request, or manage resources in a more sustainable way.
Information users provide
When creating an account, users provide account details such as username, business email address, and password. Users also provide company profile details, such as company name, industry type, company size, and company address.
Users should provide accurate and real company information, because these details support trust, matching, marketplace visibility, and platform verification.
Why this information is collected
The information is collected to provide the core platform functionality. This includes creating accounts, displaying company-related information, supporting marketplace listings, showing listing locations on the map, and helping users discover possible collaboration opportunities.
Marketplace listings may include details such as offer/request type, category, quantity, location, company, creator, creation date, description, contact email, and optional phone number. Phone numbers may be added separately for individual posts when needed.
Who can see the information
Some platform areas are visible without an account, such as a general marketplace overview and public pages like Contact, Privacy Policy, and Terms and Conditions.
Detailed marketplace information and protected areas such as My Data, Dashboard, and Materials are available only to registered users. Information visibility depends on the feature, user access level, and platform context.
Email and user-company verification
Email confirmation verifies that a user can access the email inbox used during registration. It does not prove that the user represents a specific company.
SymbioTech may also use a separate user-company verification process. This process allows administrators to review whether the company details seem real, whether the profile makes sense, and whether the user appears to be connected to the company.
AI-assisted features
Some current or future features may include AI-assisted support, recommendations, or matching-related functionality. These features are intended to support users, but they should not replace human judgment, business decisions, or direct communication between companies.

Users may contact the platform administrators for questions about account access, verification, company information, marketplace content, or privacy-related concerns.
